Graduation

It's been a long time - I feel like I've been in school FOREVER! Andrew and I both graduated from BYU on April 25th. Both my parents and Andrew's parents came up for it. It was so much fun. It would have been more enjoyable if we weren't packing up, cleaning, and moving the same weekend - but we appreciate everyone's help.
Before graduation, my program had a little lunch. I only have one picture from it. Meet my good friend Sherinah. We worked together and had classes together - so I saw her everyday. I'm still going through Sherinah withdrawals.
Here is graduation day. Lots of pictures - but I'll spare you and only show you my favorites :)

My mom's graduation present to Andrew. He loves it!
 Yay! Graduation was fun.

Happy {VERY LATE} Birthday to Jeffy Boy!

My wonderful brother Jeff turned 23 in March. He's incredible, and we love hanging out with him - we just think he's the coolest. So, we went up to the Cheesecake Factory at City Creek and had a little party.

We love you Jeff! Even though this is late - we hope you had a wonderful day!

LA Trip

Andrew applied for a grant to go to LA to complete some research for a paper. In March we took a weekend trip, and had a blast. We drove down to Las Vegas after class on Thursday - had a fun adventure down there. Friday we drove over to LA. Andrew's paper was something about fusion of cultures in LA (ask him sometime what it was really about), and so he was specifically focusing on the food trug Kogi. We ate a lot there - which was fine by me!!! It was incredibly delicious food. I'd drive all the way back to LA just to eat there again. If anyone finds themselves in LA - go eat some Kogi for me.
As we all know - I love pictures more than words. So, let the pictures begin....

He loves to gamble...and he only made $6

This is where we stayed - the 4 Queens. We were trying to get a hotel away from the hustle and bustle...failed miserably!!

This was right outside our hotel.
After our fun little adventure in Las Vegas - we headed to LA. We stopped for lunch at the Kogi truck. Don't worry - we went back like 3 times.... And we took a LOT of pictures of food.
Kimchi Spam Slider

This was my absolute favorite - the Blackjack Quesadilla
Another good one - Chicken tacos

Burrito - not my favorite - but it was still really good.
We didn't just eat....although that's mainly what we did. We went to the beach:

The sand was warm, but the water was freezing! And it was super windy.
We took the worst selfies ever taken in the history of selfies...
(And apparently we're still dating/engaged and take pictures of ourselves kissing)

We went to the Getty Villa - which was incredible:

they said we could touch it, but I was terrified to...

On the way somewhere we saw this silver car - and I took a million pictures of it. Nope, just counted...I only took 7:

We at dinner one night at C&O Trattoria. Thanks Ashley and David for the suggestion - we loved it! We sat outside on a veranda. The garlic rolls were incredible!

Of course we stopped by Sprinkles. Andrew's choice, of course ;)

We went shopping. One day we went to the fabric district. It was AWESOME!! Too bad Andrew didn't like it quite as much.....and didn't want to stay quite as long....I'm going back someday without any men. Mom? Cathi? Done.
A street lined with fabric. So.Awesome.

This was the trim shop. Floor to ceiling trim. Wow.

One night we went to an outside mall in Santa Monica. We had gelato, which was, of course, delicious.

And no worries - we upgraded our hotel room to the suite while we were there. High rollers.

Not the best pictures - but the room was pretty big.
And then we drove back to Provo - blah. The end.
